DESCRIPTION

 

The Industrial Security Sector of Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for a CONTROLLED GOODS PROGRAM Officer.

Education:
Secondary school diploma is required
Certificate, diploma, or degree in a relevant field, from a recognized post secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience is required
 
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience is required

DUTIES

Work both independently and in a team on projects relating to changes in industry requirements for the Controlled Goods Program for implementation across industry clientele
 

Client services and program information delivery

 

Thru database research, analysis and reporting, contribute to Program projects

 

Front line contact services to clients

 

Preparation of reports regarding projects and progress

Ensure quality control of project and Program data

Ensure detailed records maintained to directorate standards


QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
Secondary school diploma is required
Certificate, diploma, or degree in a relevant field, from a recognized post secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience is required
 
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience is required

2 years experience with Controlled Goods Program through the federal government or private industry

1 year of experience with Controlled Goods Program Enhanced Security Strategy
 
3 years experience in the last 5 with Excel
 
3 years experience in the last 5 with databases
 
3 years experience in project work
 
3 years experience in customer service
