QUALIFICATIONS
M1. -Demonstrates five (5) years experience establishing and managing a Software Contract Rationalization ProgramM2. - Demonstrates three (3) years experience providing advice and guidance to IT optimization initiativesM3. Demonstrates three (3) years experience with SCR toolsM4. - Demonstrates ten (10) years experience in a Mainframe environmentM5. Demonstrates five (5) years experience in a Mid-range environmentM6 Demonstrated five (5) years experience negotiating software vendorsM7. - Minimum of five (5) years providing strategic IT optimization advice and guidance to senior management
TASKS - DELIVERABLES
1. Define the plan (scope / focus areas) for Software Contract Rationalization (SRC) in 2010/112. Produce the SCR Mainframe Infrastructure3. Determine infrastructure requirements4. Assess current tool; determine if upgrade is required5. Oversee allocation of a hosting server to the SCR tool6. Oversee configuration / installation of the SCR tool in the Mainframe environment7. Oversee database conversion (working closely with SM&D database resource)8. Oversee set-up of SCR infrastructure support (e.g. backup / storage)9. Coordinate procurement of expert resources for data validation services10. Train SM&D FTE in SCR methodology, processes, tools, etc.11. Expand scope to mid-range environment12. Assess SCR tools for mid-range environment and recommend approach13. Oversee acquisition of tool (if required)14. Determine infrastructure requirements and oversee implementation (as required)
