SENIOR CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT

LOCATION: Winnipeg, Manitoba
SALARY: OPEN, commensurate with experience

Our esteemed Client, one of Canada’s largest accounting services Firms has asked for our assistance in seeking a Senior Chartered Accountant for its office in Winnipeg, Manitoba The applicant must be a qualified Accountant with CA, CMA or CGA designation and have a minimum of four (4) years of public accounting firm experience.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of audit planning and sampling software. You must fully understand accounting policies and audit techniques. Expertise with GAAP and advanced skills with MS Word, Excel and Caseware are essential. A superior academic background as well as a stable employment history is necessary.

Several of the duties, but not limited to, are Client audits (scheduling, planning, reviewing, budgeting, etc) as well as working closely with Clients and assisting them with all aspects of accounting, as required. You will be called upon occasionally to provide coaching to the Firm’s Junior Staff.

You must have exceptional analytical and interpersonal verbal and written communication skills, high motivation with the ability to work in a fast paced environment as well as the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. QUALIFICATIONS

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of four (4) years of public accounting firm experience
CA, CMA or CGA designation
Expertise with MS Word and Excel
Solid knowledge of GAAP and Caseware
Leadership skills
