TAX MANAGERS (2) – EDMONTON OR GRANDE PRAIRIE, ALBERTA
POSITION: Tax Manager SALARY: OPEN, commensurate with experience BENEFITS: Full benefits are included
Our esteemed Client, one of Canada’s largest accounting services Firms and part of a global network of National Accounting Firms has asked for our assistance in seeking Tax Managers (2) for its Alberta offices in Edmonton and Grande Prairie. The applicant must be a qualified Accountant with CA, CMA or CGA designation and have a minimum of five (5) years of public accounting firm experience, with a minimum of two (2) years of tax specialization. A university degree in business or accounting is necessary and you must have completed the CICA In Depth Tax Course (Levels I, II)
The Applicant must have leadership abilities with strong verbal and written communication skills. Two (2) years experience at a senior level in tax or previous experience as a manager is a necessary requisite. You must fully understand relevant tax legislation as well as corporate tax compliance and planning.
The successful Candidate will be responsible for coaching, managing and mentoring Junior Tax Staff, work as a senior team member on tax planning, capitalizing on business opportunities by developing and implementing strategies for Clients as well as assisting with business development opportunities for the Firm.
